An insight into the Queen of British music

Queen The Phenomenon is television’s best attempt at a revelation of the untouchable 70’s band Queen. In a 60-minute rockumentary, an in-depth evaluation of the group’s legacy to British pop music is unravelled.

"For a time I didn't want to answer any questions about Queen. I'd like to be viewed as something alive and relevant, not some fossil." - Brian May

As well as interviews with legendary Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor, the programme also features rare contributions from Freddie Mercury’s mother Jer Bulsara and his sister Kashmira Cook in addition to former manager Norman Sheffield, innovative dress designer Zandra Rhodes and Peter Freestone - Freddie’s Personal Assistant during the last ten years of his life. The documentary is intercut with captivating footage of Queen, both in the studio and performing on stage.
