We have teamed up with IdeasTap to create a life changing opportunity for five emerging artists to take their work to the next level. We will offer five artists a £30,000 bursary each, as well as support through Sky's on air, online or on demand platforms. The fund is designed to help young talent bridge the development gap from formal education to becoming a working artist.

Criteria

 1. Artists must be aged between 18-30 on 24 February 2012
2. Artists must demonstrate that the Sky Arts Ignition: Futures Fund will enhance the quality and ambition of their ideas and projects in ways that would not be possible without the support of the Fund
3. Artists with references from the sector testifying talent / ability
4. There must be an outcome – eg. performance / exhibition
5. Artists who can demonstrate how the fund will help further their career
6. Artists who can demonstrate their work enhances / adds value to the UK’s cultural landscape
7. The following artistic disciplines will be considered: music, photography, sculpture, visual art, performance art, theatre, dance, film and literature.
